The Rainbow Collective

An Early Years Collective facilitated by LEAN

The Rainbow Collective exists to support and strengthen the creative offer to early years children in Lewisham. This is for all professionals who work with the under 5s from arts, health, family and early years settings.

Since 2013, we have been bringing all professionals from arts and early years together to learn and exchange knowledge and ideas.   This includes all art forms: drama, dance, music, visual arts, crafts... and all early years professionals whether childminders, from nurseries, schools, pre-schools, childrens centres, libraries, creche workers, toddlers groups, suplimentary schools, health workers and more...

This began through funding from A New Direction, Connected London to expand our long running early year’s music stakeholders group to include all art-forms and launched the 2013-14  Programme with an Early Years Arts Symposium; see the film here. Our blog post for AND explains more about our first year and the AND Connect London Guide.
