Safeguarding Children: It’s Everybody’s Business

Free workshop from the Safe Project (2010/2011)

The Safe Project will help your organisation support volunteers to keep children safe when they are taking part in activities.

Posted: 10/03/2022

  • Do your volunteers need to gain a basic understanding of safeguarding and child protection awareness?
  • Are you worried that your volunteers may not know what to do if they are concerned about a child’s well-being?
  • Are you unsure whether your volunteers realise the importance of creating professional boundaries and keeping themselves safe from allegations?

If you are an organisation that works with children and young people and are recruiting volunteers who may lack experience working within the realms of Children and Young People, and you have answered YES to any of the above, then this FREE workshop is ideal.

This workshop will be delivered with resources created by the NSPCC and the Safe Network Project. The aim of this workshop is to raise awareness of the issues volunteers face when working with children and young people, and we will signpost participants to further development training.
