Andrew Barnett, director of the UK branch of the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation will discuss their new publication, Rethinking Relationships, which examines the civic role of arts organisations.

Promote a variety of voluntary roles to LSE students

  • Monday 2 October 2017, 5:30-8pm
  • Attendance cost: free to registered UK charities

Cat’s Cradle is a project for writers who do facilitation work, run by Jasmine Cooray and hosted by Spread the Word.

The Aviva Community Fund offers you the chance to secure funding for an important cause in your community.

Lewisham residents and organisations are invited to nominate people who volunteer in their spare time for the Mayor’s Award. The new scheme was launched to recognise individuals, community groups and businesses for their voluntary work in Lewisham.

Congratulations! Silver Award winner for Secondary teacher of the year went to Mr Simpson of St Matthew Academy Fim and Digital Media Department.

Local Lewisham Primary School's Exhibition and Fundraiser

Opportunities

Full-time, Closing date is 21st September

Arts Network is looking for creative and wellbeing partners to take up space, or run activities at our new ‘Creativity and Wellbeing Hub in Lee Green.

The Royal Borough of Greenwich runs an exciting programme of winter events. Two of them - Eltham Lights Up on 16 November and Woolwich Winter Warmer on 2 December – feature community parades.  We are looking for an organisation to deliver these events.

Part time project coordinator to work with the Project Director and a Lewisham Community group

Deadline 10am 9th October 2017. Full time. £30-£40K. This new post will suit an experienced educationalist with a passion for Shakespeare and commitment to arts education.
