Volunteer Centre Lewisham’s, Small Steps Project is delivering Mental Health First Aid Training.
Mental Health First Aid does not train you to be a Therapist, Counsellor or Mental Health Professional.  But it will teach you to:

  • Give initial help to someone
    experiencing a mental health problem
  • Deal with a crisis situation or
    the first signs of someone developing mental ill health
  • Guide people towards appropriate
    help

cost of the course is set per person and according to where your organisation
is based and what sector you are in. Full details are in the booking form below.

with the accompanying payment to Volunteer Centre Lewisham.  If you would prefer us to invoice you, please
indicate this on the form.  There is a
£10 reduction for early bird booking on courses that incur a charge.  Please note on the form if you qualify for
the £10 reduction.

Centre is 5 minutes walk from Ladywell BR station. Buses 47, 54, 75, 136,
185, 199 & P4 stop outside or near to the venue. There are limited car
parking spaces near to the venue; we recommend you use public transport where
possible. There is a lift to the 2nd Floor.

Refreshments We will provide
light refreshments (tea, coffee and biscuits). Please feel free to bring your
own lunches or to try out the local restaurants or cafes.
