On the 16 April 2018 the BBC Symphony Orchestra will be running a CPD Day for Primary classroom and instrumental teachers with a music specialism. The day will take place from 10am – 5pm and will be in two parts:

Part 1: Learn how to create new music with KS2/P5-P7 pupils using the free Ten Pieces resources.

Part 2: Get tips and tricks for conducting and performing the Ten Pieces arrangements (freely available for you to use on the Ten Pieces website) with young players and ensembles.

The day will include lots of time for discussion, opportunities to ask questions and most importantly swap ideas.

The CPD day will be run by musicians from the BBC Symphony Orchestra together with music leader and conductor Patrick Bailey.
