Lewisham Live 2017 officially finished on Monday after weeks of fantastic performances and workshop opportunities for young people across Lewisham.

Animate Orchestra’s one-day course round up the festival, with a brilliant public showcase after hours of hard work creating new music.

This event followed a back-to-back weekend with live performances, spoken word showcases, street art workshops and body art at CLUB YMA, before the Albany Young Creatives took to the stage and disputed everything you have heard about the ‘millennial generation’.

Brockley Street Art Festival is running tours in June taking in a selection of work produced by past festivals, as well as an opportunity to observe some live painting.

As part of an exhibition of photography “Activating the Future – Architectural Spaces”, which engages with the changing architectural landscape of Deptford and London – its shapes, structures and spaces, the artist Daniela white is offering a talk & workshop for students.

“Diamonds of Deptford” Workshops. Come along to this fun workshop to make your own pieces of fantasy junk jewellery. Model your creations, have your photo taken and become part of our ‘Diamonds of Deptford’ community artwork.
