Led by A New Direction, with funding from Arts Council England, Challenge London is about ensuring all children and young people in London can develop their creativity, and play an active part in the culture and heritage of the city.
Through the Challenge, A New Direction will support significant cross-sector initiatives making a difference in the lives of young people now and into the future with an investment of £900,000 over 4 years.
Between 2015 and 2018, AND invested just under £900,000 in 12 pieces of work. Recipients of Challenge investments delivered work in half of London’s boroughs, raising matched funds approaching £1million.
Over the next four years they will invest a further £900,000 through Challenge London.
