U.Dance 2019 is a national festival that draws together some of most innovative and ambitious youth dance work from across the country.

Ladywell Playtower are hosting a public exhibition across two dates to showcase the emerging proposals for redevelopment and to gather feedback ahead of submitting their planning application.

News Story

LEAN is applying for the next round of Lewisham Council's main grants, and it's a great opportunity to take stock and review the services that we currently provide. 

Culture for all Londoners (published December 2018) is the Mayor's landmark strategy for culture. It outlines an ambitious vision, which aims to provide Londoners with access to culture on their doorsteps.

Like LEAN, many of you will  be working on your Lewisham Main Grants application. Use the stats and demographics on this website to help you.

Freshwater Theatre Company is seeking an exceptionally organised, reliable and self-motivated Marketing and Communications Officer to join our friendly team based in East London.

The Old Vic's highly successful creative practitioner programme is for young people aged 18+, offering advanced hands-on experience in creative facilitation and the chance to develop key transferable skills.

ArtsTrain is a creative music programme for young people aged 11-25 working across the London Boroughs of Bromley, Bexley and Lewisham. We deliver projects and events with different groups of young people, supporting them to create their own original music and perform it.

We would like to get more of our content online, and shared in interesting ways. Including documenting our work in blogs and stories to celebrate the achievements of the young people and incredible music artists we work with.

Deadline for applications: 31 January 2019

The Community Chest was set up in 2013 to fund projects that will make a difference to the Phoenix community. Since then, we have awarded £600,000 to more than 60 projects, benefiting over 14,000 people. Previous projects have covered a wide range of activities, from family away days to African drumming classes.

We believe that these projects help create a stronger community and support our residents to gain new skills and access experiences and opportunities that may otherwise not be available.

Deadline for applications: 28 February, 12 noon

The Horniman provides learning experiences for a diverse range of visitors, including schools, families, and community groups, using our spaces and a Handling Collection of over 3500 objects. We are looking for a Learning Assistant to support the smooth running of these programmes and the Learning department; through greeting and orientating school and family groups, preparing spaces and resources, and liaising with staff from multiple departments.

Deadline: 21 January, 10am

Sound Connections are pleased to launch, and invite applications for, our 2019 Innovate Programme and IMPACT Bursary Programme.
