breatheHR are offering their HR software free of charge to Lewisham charities and will demo it on 3rd April.

Got an amazing idea for a community cultural project? Come along to City Hall to find out how the Mayor’s small grants programme, Culture Seeds, could make it happen.

Don't like mornings? Don't miss LEAN's new evening event! Join LEAN and local arts freelancers for a special evening edition of breakfast club at Deptford Does Art, with the
option of a glass of wine or beer alongside the usual tea and coffee!

If you are delivering or would like to deliver Arts Award in Bexley, Bromley, Croydon, Greenwich, Lambeth, Lewisham or Southwark, join the South London Arts Award Network for its first meeting at the Royal Festival Hall, South Bank.

London's creative and cultural industries lead the world. This report, published by Centre for London looks at the barriers young people face to getting jobs and training in the sector, and identifies ways to ensure the industry benefits from the city’s diversity of talent.

A new national network has been set up for anyone who takes responsibility for arts, heritage and design in hospitals, the Culture, Health and Wellbeing Alliance reports.

Opportunities

The Albany are looking for a Youth Programme Assistant and a Sessional Youth Support Worker.

Paddington Development Trust (PDT) is recruiting for their new Grade 1 listed venue.

£28,000 - £30,000 (depending on experience) for a 35 hour week.

The closing date: 12pm on Thursday 4th April 2019.

London Office,  £33,459 per annum, fixed term for nine months. Deadline for applications 31 March 2019.

The Albany are looking for an evaluation partner who can support them to collect data, tell the stories of the work that they do and reflect on and develop their practice. This freelance role will help to maximise capacity to support local young people.

Deadline for applications: 9pm, 3 April 2019
Interview date: 5 April 2019

 

Lewisham Council have created the Lewisham Apprenticeship and Workforce Development Fund which will help local small and medium sized employers and businesses to recruit more apprentices. They are keen on local charities taking up the opportunity too.

Fairbeats! Are recruiting for two new roles. A Creative Ukulele leader and a Music Relationships Coordinator 

Deadline: 5pm, 15 May 2019 

GLYPT are looking for a dynamic Producer for their nationally recognised Progression Programme,  which provides training, projects and performance opportunities for creative young people (age 16-25), alongside development support for young and emerging artists.

Deadline 6pm 28 April, 2019

2.5 days per week, £10125 - £11500 (FTE £20,250 -£23,000), This role is a full time job share between two people.  Both work 2.5 days. Deadline for applications 22 April 2019.

Professional Development

Sound and Music's Teacher Network Event is for London secondary music teachers wanting to explore and strengthen their approach to teaching composing.

Tri-Music Together are offering a free half day courses for Music leaders/teachers that work with young children in the EYFS and/or Key Stage 1.

Join the Family Arts Campaign and early years experts Turned On Its Head for an exclusive online how-to session on creating accessible, creative experiences for very young children and their families.

London Bubble are proud to be winners of the award for Innovation in SLCN at the 2019 Shine a Light Awards. To celebrate the company is holding free training sessions for primary school staff in South East London.
