Event

We’re delighted to announce our third Play On CPD event. This is being hosted at Theatre Peckham, 25 June 2019 from 09.30 to 17.00. This CPD event is being supported by Southwark Schools Learning Partnership, Compass School and A New Direction.

The Mayor of London Sadiq Khan has announced his intention to fund a London Borough of Culture for 2021 and 2023 and Lewisham are bidding for the £1.3m prize.

One Dance UK would like to welcome you to join teachers, group leaders, dance artists, learning & participation professionals, university teams, students and U.Dance 2019 event partners at an exclusive networking event.

Opportunities

Trinity Laban are offering three internships: A) Community & Professional Development, B) Schools, Children and Young People and C). These excellent training opportunities are for graduates interested in starting a career in arts administration and project management. 

We are delighted to announce that applications for our 2019/2020 LEYMN apprentice scheme are now open. We have five apprenticeships available for individuals looking to widen skills, knowledge and experience of early years music practice. We are keen to hear from both musicians wanting to do more early years practice, and early years practitioners wanting to do more music. Apply by 5pm on Friday 21 June. 

The Roundhouse is looking for a reliable, experienced and confident Youth Worker with a passion for supporting young people to fulfil their potential. 

DEADLINE: 10am, Monday 3rd June 2019 

Two new roles have arisen at Hoxton Hall to support the delivery of "The Listening Project": a Lead Audio Documentary Facilitator and a Youth Engagement Support Worker.

Deadline: 12 noon, Monday 3 June

This is an exciting opportunity to develop our Family Arts National Ambassador programme.  
Deadline: 9am, 12 Jun

Pow! – an artist development scheme for London based LGBTQ+ creatives aged 18 – 25, run by Nick Field with support from us at Spread the Word, is currently open for applications.

Deadline for applications:

We are looking for a freelancer or agency to redevelop and redesign the site to best meet our users’ needs and meet current best practice.

Deadline for proposals: 5pm on Friday 21 June 2019

 

Royal Museums Greenwich is seeking a Youth Projects Producer with significant experience in producing high-quality learning experiences for young people. This post may be suitable for someone from an arts or cultural education background, or it could provide an exciting opportunity for someone working within the youth sector. 

Deadline: Midnight 27 June 2019

Big Lottery Fund - now The National Lottery Community Fund - is working in partnership with Voluntary Action Lewisham and are holding one to one funding surgeries on Thursday 20 June.

The Berkeley Foundation are making £350,000 available to support community-led organisations working to develop life skills and resilience among children who are vulnerable to involvement in violence. Deadline 3 July 2019.

A range of tutor positions available at Lewisham Music.  www.lewishammusic.org/teachers/workwithus

 

The deadline for applications is midnight Sunday 30 June.

The Art of Self Care, is a day of workshops, panel talks and provocations exploring self-care within the arts sector for artists, producers, facilitators etc.
