Advice

Youth Music has created a practical guide for all those planning or running a music-making project for children and young people. This guide will help you through your entire project, from the initial proposal right through to sharing your findings.

The National Centre for Circus Arts is looking for a Participation and Outreach Coordinator with experience of working with schools and community groups and who is confident working with young people.

Deadline: 2 July 2018

If you are a Lewisham-based non-profit making constituted group offering arts festival projects you can use Crowdfund Lewisham to get people to support your ideas, or complete an application form (if you think Crowdfunder is not suitable for your campaign). Lewisham Arts Festival Grant scheme may be able to match fund up to 70% of your target up to a maximum of £4,000.

National Youth Jazz Orchestra is now hiring a Learning & Participation Co-ordinator to play a key role in the organisation and to support our position as the aspirational pinnacle of UK youth jazz – inspiring audiences and engaging with young people of all backgrounds around the country. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and driven candidate to have a substantial impact as part of a high-calibre and fast-paced team.

The Fore is the only open-access funder in the UK offering development funding and strategic support to early-stage charities and social enterprises

Unlimited is an arts commissioning programme that aims to embed work by disabled artists within the UK and international cultural sectors, reach new audiences and shift perceptions of disabled people. Unlimited is delivered by the disability-led arts organisation Shape Arts and arts-producing organisation Artsadmin.

We are seeking a dynamic, creative resourceful individual, with a strong track record of similar work and excellent management skills. Action for refugees in Lewisham (AFRIL) is looking for artists with experience of working with young people and a passion for community engagement to run one day workshops for the Helping Hands-ON Project.

To help charities enhance their digital capabilities, Media Trust has launched a free UK-wide programme of digital skills training, delivered through local masterclasses, mentoring and online learning. The initiative will run from September 2018 until June 2019.

Heard a lot about Photoshop & Adobe creative software but not sure where to start or which programs to use? Led by arts educator Alex Harwood, dip your toes into the most commonly used Adobe apps and discover what they have to offer.
