ICT Monitoring and Outcomes training

Do you want to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of your outcomes monitoring?

This free half day course is aimed primarily at managers, but it may be relevant for other staff members involved with outcomes monitoring.

Posted: 05/10/2011

This course follows on from the Developing Outcomes 1 day course and aims to raise awareness of a range of ICT tools that can be deployed by voluntary and community organisations to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of outcomes monitoring.

Session objectives:

• Learn how ICT can help with collecting, storing, retrieving and presenting outcomes information

• Understand more about the processes involved in implementing a holistic system

• See demonstrations (and have some hands on time) looking at ‘off the shelf’ systems selected for relevance in terms of services, client group and cost

• Start identifying specific tools that will enable you to better capture information relating to the outcomes you developed in Day 1 of the course

• Draft an action plan to support adoption of these tools over the next year 6 – 12 months

The course is being delivered by Kate White, Superhighways Manager. Kate has been managing and developing Superhighways for almost 10 years and has a wealth of experience in voluntary sector use of ICT and a good understanding of the difficulties faced.
