An online CPD session for secondary teachers of arts subjects exploring how you can incorporate student skills development (including communication, critical thinking and problem-solving) into your teaching practice. Led by Torri Stewart, the CPD will equip you with activities that could be used with students to meet Gatsby Benchmarks.

Presented by Barbican Guildhall Creative Learning in partnership with Culture Mile Learning and Foundation for Future London, this interactive session will include an overview of fusion skills and fusion thinking, as well as providing example activities that could be used with your students to develop their skills and meet Gatsby Benchmarks.
Led by creative careers consultant Torri Stewart, the session will be themed around fusion skills a broader bundle of skills including digital, creative, social, interpersonal competencies as well as a range of cognitive skills such as judgement and decision making, critical thinking and problem-solving. Research has demonstrated that fusion skills are becoming increasingly critical to the 21st-century workplace.
The session is aimed at secondary school teachers of arts subjects (including but not limited to art, design technology, drama, music and media).
