Launch events for the new Youth Music funding programme will be happening around the country through November 2011. The London event will be split into a morning or afternoon option.

The events are aimed at anyone with an interest in seeking funding for music education activities, specifically those working in Youth Musics priority areas: children in challenging circumstances, encouraging talent and potential, and early years.
The events will provide attendees with an introduction to the new Youth Music Programme, including an overview of the application and assessment process. The modular structure and various modules available will be outlined, along with the principles that underpin the new grant programme.
There will also be an introduction to the Youth Music Network website, a new resource to support and encourage practice sharing, collaboration and networking. Youth Music Network will also be the portal for applying for funding.
