£50 million available to organisations who are not NPO

This is for organisations who are not in receipt of regular funding from the Arts Council. You can apply fora maximum of £35,000.

Which organisations can apply to this fund?

ACE say, ‘Organisations with a track record in publicly funded culture. This fund is to support them to get back on their feet, or to continue making work in the future that will mean they can contribute to delivering our new strategy, Let’s Create.’

Organisations who have applied to National Lottery Project Grants are welcome to apply for this support.

As with support for National Portfolio Organisations, ACE expect organisations who receive this fund ‘to show how they will do all they can to support the freelance creative practitioners on whom they rely.’

How can this money be used?

This fund can be used to support business resilience as well as enable cultural organisations to develop new public facing activity during the Covid-19 emergency, for example, organisations who have new ideas to harness the power of digital in sharing creativity at the moment.

When do applications open?

Guidance and a detailed timetable for this fund will be announced by ACE on Monday 30 March.

If you are interested in applying for this but are not already registered on Grantium (Arts Council’s funding portal), you will need to do so by Friday 3 April. They say there will be help to do this. LEAN has registered on Grantium in the past and can share our experiences. Email Jane.
