Artist/Filmmaker Commission, UCLH NHS Foundation Trust

UCLH Arts and Heritage are looking to appoint a filmmaker/artist/oral historian to record staff’s experience of COVID.

Deadline: 30th June 2021

UCLH Arts and Heritage are looking to appoint a filmmaker/artist/oral historian to record staff’s experience of COVID. They will offer UCLH staff and staff from our wider workforce the opportunity to share their memories of the Covid-19 pandemic in a ‘short’ film that highlights the disparity of COVID impact on our staff that identify as global majority or ethnic minority workforce and provides a tool for which to tell their story, celebrate diversity and so assist in staff recovery and the processing of the COVID Pandemic.

The film will be created with sensitivity to the diversity of cultures employed across UCLH and the aim is to produce a thoughtful, considered and reflective response to the experiences of a wide range of NHS hospital staff. Further information can be found in the link below.

They welcome applications from artists who identify as global majority or ethnic minority as they are particularly keen to reflect these staff voices.

The commission fee is £10,000.
