Kazzum Arts are looking for an experienced Communication & Social Media Officer to support marketing and communications activity across the organisation. 

 

The ideal candidate will use their marketing and social media skills to enhance Kazzum’s 

online presence, through the creation of focused interactive and engaging content. They will be a team player who is able to work on their own initiative and is comfortable making decisions. We are looking for a great communicator with exceptional organisational skills. No week at Kazzum is the same, so we need someone who is flexible and adaptable, and able to hit the ground running. 

 

This is a new role within Kazzum’s small, dynamic team. It is a fantastic opportunity to raise awareness for our Charitable activities and support young people’s engagement within the arts.  

 

Kazzum Arts are an Arts and Health charity working with children and young people at times in their life when they are most in need of support. Our trauma informed programmes offer creative and relational development opportunities within hospitals, refugee settings, mainstream and specialist schools; partnering professional artists with children and young people to develop creative approaches to mental health, wellbeing and social justice. 

 

Salary: £25,116 per annum pro rata 

Hours: Part-time 2 days per week (16 hours) 

Contract Type: 10 Month Fixed Term Contract with the view to extend, funding permitting.

Interviews will take place on Tuesday 3rd August on Zoom. Shortlisted candidates will be asked to complete a task in advance.
