Lewisham Village are looking for artists to creative artists to use their walls as a canvas

We are currently looking for artists and creatives who can bring our space to life by using our walls as a canvas to help us tell our story.

Lewisham Village's core vales are:

-Supporting and developing locals Skills, talents and businesses 
-Ethical and sustainable living and trade
-Reaching and supporting those who are disadvantaged worldwide

We are very open to creative direction from Artists and are looking for local talent to propose some designs they would like to produce on our walls that reflect our values.
As this is a charity we are not in a position to give paid work but can offer Artists a complementary Art Sale Exhibition Event Day on upper 8000sq ft mezzanine floor and are happy to promote on all our marketing materials.

Lewisham Village is a collective of 3 organisations who have collaborated together and have acquired a 10,000+ sq ft space in the heart of Lewisham. We plan to use the space as a Hub for Creatives, Practitioners and locals to Work, trade and socialize and as a training center for locals. 
The purpose of the space is to serve as a launch pad for locals in the community to be able to start there own enterprises or go on to further work within the industry from the training and combined work experience.

The rest of the space will have:
• Studio Shops for local businesses
• Work Studios for creatives, Artists and Practitioners 
• Gallery/ Exhibition and Event space 
• Dedicated Desk Spaces / Hot Desking & Coworking Area
• Cafe 

The Parent Charity is called Amaya, A charity who work with Artisan fashion designers in Ghana who upcylce second hand garments to create beautiful pieces which are sold in london and ensure designers get a good profit. 
The second company is Kitty Ferreira, an ethical award winning clothing label that aims to dispel the ‘hippy’ connotations of ethical and sustainable fashion, by juxtaposing city chic with the natural world. 

The final arm of the team is an award winning charity called Urban Mba who deliver enterprise and employability training. The Objective of Urban MBA is to re-train and re-educate disadvantaged, marginalised and in most cases disengaged young adults (primary target is 18 – 25, but not exclusive) using enterprise and life skills to equip them with transferable assets so they are in a position to find employment or to start an enterprise.
