ArtsTrain is a pioneering creative music programme managed by the award winning social enterprise Mytime Active. In 2018 the organisation became Bromley’s first ever Arts Council National Portfolio organisation, providing young people aged 11-25 with access to exceptional creative music opportunities across Bromley, Bexley and Lewisham.

The Music Programme Producer will lead on the planning and delivery of ArtsTrain’s Music Programme for young people aged 11-25.

Working with professional artists, youth and community partners, schools and other creative organisations, you will develop projects, workshops and performance opportunities, to establish pathways and progression routes for diverse groups of young people.

Summary of responsibilities

  1. To manage the delivery of a coherent and exciting creative music programme for 11-25s

  2. To work with artists and creative industry partners to maximise the opportunities for young people

  3. To support with the recruitment of new artists and participants to the programme

  4. To build new and maintain existing relationships with ArtsTrain project partners, leading on communication, project and event planning

  5. To be the main point of contact with regard to project and event delivery

  6. To attend project sessions, observe and monitor facilitators, report back on progress and feed back to artists.

  7. To lead on event and showcase planning and curation

  8. To write copy for reports, newsletters and online content

  9. To represent and act as ambassador for the ArtsTrain programme at external events as required.

  10. Ensure that a commitment to equal opportunities is reflected at all stages of project planning and delivery

The 32 hour role is flexible to include some evening and weekend work and we are open to discussing a work pattern to suit the right candidate.

Location: Bromley

Salary: £25,000 Pro rata / FTE

Job Type: 32 Hours per week, 2 year fixed-term contract
