Paid Digital Traineeship at the Horniman Museum
The
Horniman Museum and Gardens will be supporting a Museum Futures Digital Trainee
(working on the South London Music project).
Taster Session: Saturday 12 October
2019 2pm-5pm
Application Deadline: Monday 21 October 2019 10am

The Trainee will help in the creation, organisation, and sharing on line of the Horniman’s digital images, audio and video, helping the museum to tell vivid stories about the peoples of the world.
The chosen candidate will be trained in digital management and will work for a large part of their placement as part of the Music in the Making project team, working with music and musicians, especially the music and musicians of South London. The trainee will also help the Horniman to learn how to make the most of media old and new and keep it safe forever.
The Horniman trainee will be paid a bursary of £15,350 (tax free) and work towards a Level 3 Diploma in Cultural Heritage. This is a full-time placement for one year.
