Festival planning is underway for 2017 with an explosion of new projects and old favourites.

Our local children and young people’s music and dance festival is planning some ambitious new programmes for 2017 including:
- Creative Collective – transforming young musicians and dancers into composers and choreographers
- Young Composers – to get young people’s compositions heard beyond the bedroom and exam room
- Young Creatives – first steps in developing a career in the arts for 16-25yr olds
Once again a group of young musicians and dancers will collaborative to create an exceptional original piece of music and dance.
All our favourite performance opportunities will be back too, including Live Dance, Live at the Halls and Live Voices.
All this is made possible by the support of many funders, dedicated organisations, schools and performers. We are delighted that Arts Council England are once again supporting our special programmes for 2017.
