Sound Connections is a development organisation championing young peoples music-making, with inclusivity and social justice at the heart. We facilitate Wired4Music, a network for creatives aged 16-25 powered by youth voice; we run a dynamic programme of professional development; and we lead ground-breaking research, advocacy and change programmes. We also run a thriving consultancy service, which in recent years has taken us across the UK and beyond to countries including Poland, Lebanon and Jordan. Our roots are in music but we work with the wider creative and cultural sectors too. We have successfully adapted all our programmes to online delivery during the pandemic.

Sound Connections is at a pivotal point in its organisational journey as we celebrate our 20th anniversary in 2022 and launch our new strategy. We are looking for an experienced Programme Manager to oversee our Youth Voice and Participation work with particular responsibility for overseeing Wired4Music and delivering consultancy projects for clients focusing on this area of work. We are also a very flexible, adaptable and creative organisation, and within the role there is plenty of opportunity to bring new and progressive ideas.
